When I visit a coffeeshop with a dude and we order one cafe latte and one double-shot espresso, why does the waiter always assume that the espresso is for dude and the latte for me?

It seems that this blog is not as active as it used to be at Vox.  Most of the time, I don't know what to write about.  Everything seems either trivial or mundane to warrant a post, or too personal to put out in the open.  Or perhaps it is that I have not had my intellectually stimulating (a.k.a. gut wrenching, brain constipating) deadline in over a month now and the publishing deadline does not fire enough neurons to activate this blog. Heck, I am not even replying in Gigabytes to emails like I usually do.

I have been visiting my google reader now and then, but have not been commenting due to the inertia.  I'll be back with a bang, at least a whimper soon..until then, don't forget me.

Summer is here. Today is the first day that I felt warm.  Which means that it was probably HOT outside.  And it is February.  We might just have an overdose this year to make up for the unusually mild summer of last year.

More trips to the beach in the offing, I hope.

You know your stock fell like a ton-o-bricks in the eyes of 7-9 year old girls, when you swore using the "A$$#*!e" word, at the guy who reversed his car right on your path without as much as a glance at his rear view mirror when you were traveling at 40 km/h, so that when you braked (broke?) to avoid hitting him, your heart fell into your  queasy stomach and the kids smeared chocolate frosting all over your seat cover !

It seems Lakshmi aunty is not a gentlewoman, afterall !
